Die Young is mostly a first-person survival game. You play the role of a teen girl on vacation with her friends who is kidnapped and left for dead on a remote Mediterranean island.
When the game begins, you find yourself at the bottom of a well with nothing but the clothes on your back and a rudimentary map of the island to aid you on your adventure to locate your friends and escape the island. Your quest log will expand as you explore, and there is even an itemized to-do list that breaks everything down into extremely detailed objectives, the first of which is to climb out of the well.
