If you enjoy creating music, Endless, a sophisticated composition and collaboration tool that formerly cost £79 ($108), is now available for free on Windows, macOS, and iOS.
The app’s name is Endlesss (yep, with three s), and it promises limitless collaborative music enjoyment. It’s a free download and fully functional with no additional costs.
Endlesss Studio is a sophisticated cloud-connected multi-track looper equipped with an extensive library of performance instruments and effects. It comes pre-loaded with a diverse range of performance-optimized instruments that are designed to spark creativity immediately. Additionally, it offers 23 innovative performance effects with instant recursive resampling. What, in my opinion, makes the entire package so fascinating is the online collaboration component and the workflow.
In contrast to normal apps, you don’t jam in your own bubble alone and isolated. Here you jam in a group either with a random group of musicians or with your best friends. And wherever you want: on the couch, in the studio, on the go.
Endlesss is a looper-based system that jam participants can customize with musical content. Once a jam is established, you can invite your friends/community to join. From this point on, anyone can join in and contribute their own elements to the jam. You can either utilize the app’s built-in sounds or sample your own instruments (guitar, synth…) or voice. This sampler instrument unlocks an infinite number of new instruments.
Integration
Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, and more are some of the DAWs that Endlesss can work well with. For example, there are both VST and AU plugin versions. MIDI controllers can be used, and you can drag and drop audio right away.
Endlesss Studio System Requirements
It is available for macOS and Windows and runs as a standalone application and as an AU/VST3 Plug-in.
To run on Mac or Windows you will need the following spec or higher:
- MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher, Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM
- Windows 10 or higher, Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM
- Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that supports either AU-64bit or VST3 plug-ins
Getting and setting up the app
You can download studio from endlesss.fm for free right now.
Then, run the installer and agree to the terms of use. A VST3 and AU (Mac only) plug-in will be in your DAW of choice after you install it.
For the Mobile or iOS app download it from App Store.
