About Outcast 1.1 Game:
The game is set in 2007 and features fictional events. Scientists from the United States send a probe to an undiscovered world located within a parallel reality.
The probe arrives on the planet Adelpha, which is home to the Talan civilization. The natives quickly locate the probe and destroy it, resulting in the creation of a black hole that poses a threat to Earth.
Cutter Slade, a former Navy SEAL, is dispatched to the alien planet to accompany three scientists tasked with finding the probe and closing the interdimensional rift.
Cutter is separated from the other scientists when they arrive on this foreign world, and the inhabitants embrace him as the Ulukai, their savior.
About this version
Recompiled from the original source code, Outcast 1.1 is optimized for modern PCs.
Improved stability and performance are two of the most noticeable changes from the original version. The voxel renderer is now multithreaded, and software bilinear filtering on polygonal meshes has been implemented. The HUD has been rebuilt to fit higher resolutions, and new high-resolution sky paintings have been included.
