Yesterday Origins is a 2016 graphic adventure game developed by the Spanish company Pendulo Studios and published by Microïds. Both a prequel and a sequel to Pendulo’s earlier Yesterday, the game follows protagonists John Yesterday and his girlfriend Pauline as they try to unravel the mystery of John’s immortality.
The player takes control of John and Pauline and explores the game world, solves puzzles, collects items and converses with non-player characters.
“Yesterday Origins” will take the immortal heroes, John Yesterday and his other half Pauline, not only across the world, but across history itself. This interwoven narration gives the plot its depth and richness.
It all began 500 years ago when a young John Yesterday was imprisoned for sorcery by the Spanish Inquisition. One problem: every time he comes back to life, he has no memory of the past.
